I first found an interest in photography when I was ten years old. I loved snapping pictures of everything nature. It wasn't until grade 11/12 that I purchased my very first DSLR. It was so much fun trying to take pictures not only with nature or people, but something with meaning. Taking photographs was a place where I found a lot of peace. I always loved creating art but I was never very good at painting or sculpting etc, but photography was something I could do and control the outcome. So then it occurred to me, I love taking photographs….why not go to school to learn more about it. I had never dreamed of doing photography as a career, I simply wanted to know more and increase my skills. I learned many different aspects of photography in college and learned so much more of how to use my camera to make art.
And now, I not only want to make art for you, but I want to make memories, memories that will last and be cherished for many, many years.
